We are getting ready for another round of snow here on the East Coast. Starting tomorrow morning.
I just wanted to say that sometimes we get overwhelmed when we find out SNOW is coming. It means shoveling. School closures. Making sure we have enough supplies etc.etc. But over the years…..I have gained a new appreciation for WINTER. My special needs daughter Emily, marvels at the snow. She smiles bigger than you have ever seen. She just looks at it as if she is in LOVE. She understands GODS beauty…. in ways we may never. She cant talk and tell us how much she loves it…but I can see it in her eyes & feel it.
He who marvels at the beauty of the world in summer will find equal cause for wonder and admiration in winter…. In winter the stars seem to have rekindled their fires, the moon achieves a fuller triumph, and the heavens wear a look of a more exalted simplicity.
