Just checking in to let my blog readers know that everything is still going well with this pregnancy. We had a growth scan last week to make sure baby is progressing well….and SHE IS!
Currently weighing in at around 4 1/2 pounds. Not me, the baby.
I am no longer eating oranges like they are going to be taken off the face of the Earth forever. Now I can’t seem to stop eating Popsicle’s.
If you saw me in a store, you would probably say I am waddling like a duck. If you didn’t say it, you sure would be thinking in. quack. quack.
There is a good chance I will be induced at 38 weeks, due to my history of fast deliveries and there are definitely pros and cons about be induced. Having a set date is kind of nice but also takes away the anticipation of waiting for your labor to start naturally. The “Patience is a Virtue” theory sort of takes a back seat when you have a set date to give birth, doesn’t it?
I personally think induction is more painful, because you are being blasted with intense labor pains right from the beginning [that Pitocin is heavy duty stuff]. But that also means we get to hold our little girl a little bit sooner.
Whatever the case….. induced or not induced….. delivering at 38 weeks or 40 weeks….. I am still daydreaming about the day I get to introduce Lily to her sisters.
Hold her in our arms.
Seeing daddy lay eyes on his precious baby girl for the first time.
Late night feedings.
Walks in the park.
Loving you unconditionally.
See you soon Lily.
