In the mood for some more Autumn comfort food? These easy and cute beef pies just may be what you need.
1 pound ground beef
1 whole onion, diced
2 cups mild barbeque sauce
1 can corn
1/2 red pepper
2 1/4 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 450.
Add beef and onion to skillet and cook until done.
Lower heat to simmer and mix in BBQ sauce, red pepper, and corn.
Mix Bisquick and milk in a bowl, drop by spoonfuls into your ramekins or a muffin tin.
Bake the biscuits for about 2 minutes, then take out of the oven and add a large spoonful of the meat mixture on top of biscuit dough.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for another 8-10 minutes.
note: Your husbands will need to be served more than one of these, or you may see them sneaking in the pantry later.
