What happens when you stay up late watching the Food Network?
For starters, your stomach starts growling…..and hopefully after you are done curing your hunger pangs with a little snack or two…….you get some cute Holiday Treat ideas.
With a love for all things Reese’s and a night of watching some pretty spectacular Halloween Treat creations, I thought I would try my hand at one.
Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pops, the task at hand. Trust me when I say, the one’s they made on the show looked much better.
Things you will need:
Peanut Butter Cookie Mix
Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins
First things first, you need to make the Peanut Butter Cookies, as instructed on the pack. Be sure to insert the lollipop sticks before you bake the cookies.
After you pull your cookies out of the oven, you will top with the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin. This way the candy can adhere to the cookie.
Have you ever heard the old saying, “When I dance I have two left feet?” Well, when I try to use icing….. it is not pretty.
So thanks to the teen child in our house….. our Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pops have faces. Thanks Ash!
Are you ready to try making a new treat for your friends and family?
Now excuse me while I continue watching Food Network and daydream of taking a chocolate bath, walking across a rainbow or Skittles, or having a snowball fight with popcorn balls.
A girl can dream can’t she? Now go make some cookies!
Of soft and golden hue
Pierce through the future’s veil and show
What fate now holds for you.
