The wish castle is where our family went today. You walk through the first set of double doors into an entryway & you look around to see beautiful stain glass windows & hanging canvases. You then walk through a second double door and you step into the grand hall where there is a huge maze constructed into the floor, large topiaries that look like chess pieces and above us…..the biggest skylight I have ever seen in my life.
In the distance you hear, “Well, hello there….is this Emily?”
We were taken on a tour, filled out some paperwork, the girls were given some fun gifts, we visited the Inspiration Room & Teen Lounge. Then…….
The Wish Room.
We were kindly asked not to take photographs inside….since this is a magical experience to be saved for the wish kids.
We entered. Together. Hand in Hand. As a family.
A treasure box was opened that contained a magical crystal inside. Together, Emily and I placed the magic crystal into the wish box and whispered her wish together.
“I wish to meet Winnie the Pooh at his house in Disney world.” Though I’m pretty sure the only words that came out of our mouths were P-o-o-H.
Birds chirped. Beautiful lights and sounds arose. And then Emily’s wish traveled to a sparkly star.
