In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind.
Hey bunny, why aren’t you hopping away? hop. hop. hop away. I am getting super close to take a picture, don’t you want to run? Bunny?
Do you have any idea why this bunny would just sit there & let me take a picture of her? Well she wouldn’t normally. She certainly doesn’t just sit there when Emily is chasing after her either.
Excuse me, bunny, now that’s not very lady like.
Wait a minute. Bunny in that very moment, is becoming a mama to 6 little baby bunnies. No wonder she wasn’t running away. And I thought she just wanted to play nice and let me take pictures of her. haha.
She now takes a moment to nurse and bond with her little ones. Ah, the beauty of nature at it’s finest. Here in the Hundred Acre Woods.
She then covers her nest with some mulch and leaves the area. We were worried that she was abandoning her babies but after a little research, learned that this is quite normal. They leave the area of the nest so that predators can’t find them as easily. She will return in the early morning hours & at dusk to feed them.
Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
