I thought it would be fun over the next few weeks to share some of my BBQ tips and recipes with you. If you’re one for tradition, you can’t go wrong with barbecued foods. Wouldn’t you agree?
Here are a few tips to get your started:
If you are planning to grill chicken, it helps to marinade & grill it in advance. Example: Your party is on a Saturday…. then start your marinade on Thursday night, let stand until Friday night when you can grill it ahead of time. Store in fridge and it will be ready come BBQ time.
It helps to have some premade food items…. you will be glad to have that extra time to spend with your guests.
If you are thinking to yourself, it’s too costly to grill chicken…… it may help if you watch for sales at your local grocery store & buy some of it ahead of time.
You don’t need to use “chicken breasts”, you can also use chicken tenderloins, drumsticks, …..or…..if you are brave enough, you can cut up a whole chicken. That task, I have yet to master.
disclaimer: Use my recipes & tips at your own risk. I am not a professional BBQer….just sharing what we have learned over the years. Remember to HAVE FUN & you can’t go wrong!
