We will spend this week reviewing shapes. We will be identifying, tracing and locating in our environment circles, squares, triangles, diamonds, rectangles, ovals, hearts, and stars. Our letter of the week is Qq. We will be counting our shapes. Our fine motor skills will be tracing and coloring within the lines. We will continue to review the colors brown and black.
Good work today. Emily enjoyed “head, shoulders, knees & toes”.
Emily was very quiet today. We didn’t get too much done. She sat at the table and picked up small objects. This was the day I was notified of a possible seizure during class.
Telling me “done” all the time.
Emily said cookie many times during our lesson on circles. She also said donut twice. She laughed when I asked her if Daddy ate donuts & said “no” when I asked her if Ashley ate donuts.
Occupational Therapy Progress Report #2:
Emily continues to make slow but steady progress during OT sessions. She has been given a weighted vest to wear throughout the school day to work on decreasing her tactile defensiveness. Emily is more willing to explore new objects/toys during OT with a decreased amount of resistance. She will grasp her crayon/marker with less resistance and for an increased amount of time. Emily is a pleasure to work with during OT.
