Emily is a pleasant girl who has been doing well in speech and language therapy. She can follow simple, one-step directions at times. Emily requires prompting to follow simple, unfamiliar directions. At times, Emily will greet staff. At other times, she requires prompting to greet staff and peers. Emily has increased her production of sounds, syllables and word approximations. Emily usually requires cues to answer “yes” questions. Speech therapy has also focused on answering “what” questions and increasing receptive vocabulary skills.
