There comes a time in a child’s life when they need to transition to new things. Like transitioning from a bottle to a cup. A highchair to a regular chair. A carseat to a booster seat. And a crib to a toddler bed. When are we supposed to know when the time is right? I keep trying to refer to the parent manual that they hand out at birth but….. oh ya, I never got mine.
Some say that you don’t need to transition to a bed until the child is potty trained, others say if you child is climbing out of the crib, then it’s time. Emily isn’t potty trained & she certainly isn’t climbing out.
I just want her to feel like a big girl. If she isn’t comfortable with it, I can certainly put the side back up.
Decisions become easier when
your will to please God
outweighs your will to please the world.
