Quilters Advent Ladder DIY

November 20, 2024 by Tina 2 Comments

DIY Quilters Advent Ladder in progress…..

Things you need:

your quilt ladder {even a regular ladder would work}

some ribbon, twine or strip of fabric

fabric pouches {super cute kits available from Sweetwater, here}

small clothespins or clips {you could even use Clover clips}

I wanted to have a little fun this year with my quilt ladder and what could be better than counting down Christmas near some of your favorite quilts.

It’s fun using your imagination and grabbing things you already have available to make something new & exciting isn’t it? #shopyourhouse #moneysaver

Tie your ribbon onto the quilt ladder above each dowel. The number of ribbons you tie, and pockets you hang on each will really depend on the size of your ladder.

Note: You will still be able to access your quilts easily because the ties are attached to your ladder. Just take them off or put them on from behind the ladder.

Hang your pockets on the ribbon with a small clothespin or clip.

Sometimes Michaels has these cutsie clothespins in their dollar bins.

Fill your little pouches with treats, notes or toys and have fun counting down Christmas. Merry Christmas friends!

One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don’t clean it up too quickly. ~Andy Rooney
