a cozy cottage for all seasons

IMG_5621A fresh new calendar. It’s something we look forward to each year. We take down the old one and hang up the new…. wondering what the new year will have in store for us.

IMG_6681This coming year, not only do we have new adventures to look forward to…… but we also have 12 months of inspiring pictures in Lori Holt’s new 2016 Cozy Cottage calendar.

If you haven’t already, you can pick one up at the Fat Quarter Shop, here.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, it also includes a pattern for this cute cottage style house.

IMG_5617You can make a pillow, a table runner, or even a larger comfy Cozy Cottage quilt. You choose.

IMG_5632 After getting started with a spooky cute halloween cottage for Fall ….. I couldn’t stop there.

IMG_6683I needed to make a cozy cottage for each of the four seasons.

IMG_6595So I made a Winter Cozy Cottage ……

and of course Quilty Kitty helped supervise. #kittyquilter

Wrap yourself in your favorite quilt and sip on hot chocolate with marshmallows in this cozy cottage.

IMG_6645When winter is over we will start to see nature come back to life.

IMG_6641It’s so refreshing to wake up to bird chirping & the sun shining a little brighter.

Welcome to the Springtime Cozy Cottage .

IMG_6673 Last but not least I made a Summertime Cozy Cottage…..

IMG_6679where the days are filled with running through sprinklers, picnics, lazy days on the beach, the smell of suntan lotion & sunshiney days.

IMG_5643The Fall Cozy Cottage was full of kitties, fabric, and leftover Halloween candy! BOO!

It will be so fun starting a new tradition with our Cozy Cottage for Every Season.

Happy sewing friends and don’t forget that each season has something remarkable to offer. Celebrate each one.
