The countdown to the Farmer’s Wife sew along is underway as we all gather our books, fabrics, design boards, templates {paper or plastic}, pincushions & scissors.
Fat Quarter Shop, Angie of Gnome Angel and Marti Michell will be hosting the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew Along. We hope you join us on this quilting adventure as a team of quilters & bloggers (including myself) sew these unique blocks, inspire each other and share some helpful tips along the way.
If you prefer using your rotary cutter and plastic templates, Marti Michell designed these nifty templates sets to use when you are making the Farmer’s Wife 1930s blocks.

I did not choose a specific fabric line to work with, but did choose a color palette and will use all different shades and patterns that have those colors in it. It will be fun choosing fabrics as we go.
The Sew Along begins Monday, September 28, 2024. #FQS1930 Farmer’s Wife You can also join the Facebook group here.
See you soonish. And don’t forget to stop by and see my Farmer’s Wife quilt block gallery, here.

Anxious to start the quilt — awaiting my book, and contemplating fabrics.
