not even a mouse

August 3, 2024 by Tina 3 Comments

Not a creature was stirring not ….. “even a mouse”.

I sew Christmas projects all through the year and this fabric line by Maude Asbury was no exception.

With my Quilty Fun Book by Lori Holt & a bundle of Even a Mouse by Maude Asbury for Blend Fabrics I made the cocoa cups pattern.

Nine cups of cocoa coming right up …….

Confessions of a Quilter: This is what happens when you are talking & laughing while sewing instead of paying attention to what your doing.

After getting my act together and using the seam ripper a couple or five times …… I quilted the cocoa cups mini with a simple free motion swirl and chose the light blue snowflake fabric for binding. Isn’t it the cutest?

Note: The cocoa cup pattern is actually written for a pillow, a very large one …. so I decided to go ahead and make mine into a mini quilt that can also be used as a table topper over the holidays.

One more Christmas project done and it’s only August.

For more Christmas “all year” ideas search hashtag #teamchristmas2016 on Instagram. Happy Quilting friends!
